This is a wee bit late, but, here it is: our final update for 2018. Come on, let me tell you what you will need to know until we get back from vacation in January.
NOW HEAR THIS!
THIS WEEK’S BIG NEWS: I WILL BE TAKING OFF FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK STARTING TODAY!!!
As many of you may already know, I usually like to take off from normal business operations during the last two weeks of the year. Well, this year, I think I am going to take off a little earlier. So, starting today, I am officially on vacation!!!
As always, I will be in the shop during my break, but, unless I actually feel like working, I do not worry about filling orders. I allow myself to ignore them for these few days — so I can actually relax. This does not mean you cannot order while I am on vacation! You can still order, and I might even ship your order over my break, but — most likely — I will not start filling orders again until January 2-3, after I come back off my break. So, you need to know that, if you order, your order will not ship until early January, 2019.
We have a new roof! So, no more worries about leaking ceilings. We are doubly blessed in that we also have a signed contract with a general contractor. They have already stripped my office. If the weather forecast is accurate, they will fix the siding on our house next week. Then they will get to work on our ceilings and floors. They are shooting to have us back in the house by the end of January. I feel a little guilty, as so many in our area do not even have their roofs fixed yet (and won’t for months), but I might have my house repaired by the end of January. All I an say is, God has blessed us 🙂
ON THE BENCH
I have no idea what it will be, but I will be working on new masters by the end of this week. Make sure to watch for them in January. I’ll announce what I did in our first update of the New Year.
As I write this update, I have one — 1 — outstanding order in house and no customer service issue.
MY PERSONAL WORLD
My world is not so important right now. For now, I want to focus on you. I pray that you and your family will have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year holidays. I hope you will find or even make time to visit with your loved ones. In the end, that is what really matters: the relationships in our lives — especially the ones closest and dearest to us. So I want to leave you with my thanks, my eternal gratitude and my most sincere wish that your life will be filled with God’s blessing and protection. So, until January, have fun, but be safe. 🙂
THAT IS ALL
Well, that’s all I have for now. So, until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
